Phil brings more than 14 years of banking experience focused on supporting small business and middle market customers to his role as President & CEO. Overseeing the bank's financial, operational, administrative, and credit underwriting activities, he also leads GRB's marketing and sales efforts, and serves as the bank's liaison to community support activities.

Phil received his MBA from the William E. Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester, and spent seven years with a local regional bank as a Vice President — Commercial Lending Officer. Besides sitting on GRB's Board of Directors, he is Board President of the Small Business Council, a trustee of McQuaid Jesuit High School, and on the boards of the Rochester Business Alliance and the Greater Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross. Additionally, he is a committee member for Compeer special events.

On weekends you can find Phil spending time with his three kids or paddling his Adirondack guide boat on Irondequoit Bay.
